The Edo State Government through the Office of the Head of Service is set to hold a comprehensive dialogue with Permanent Secretaries, Heads and Directors designate of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), towards fostering collaboration, open communication and improved synergy across the State’s MDAs.
The plan was contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Corporate Change, Communication and Performance Management, Office of the Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Joy Akhigbe. According to the statement, the strategic dialogue with the Head of Service (HOS), Dr. Anthony Okungbowa, is themed, “Breakfast Meeting with the Head of Service.”
According to the Statement, the interactive session will provide a relaxed platform for strategic dialogue, knowledge sharing and feedback from top Government Functionaries, in line with the present administration’s commitment to building a more productive, innovative and high-performing Public Service. It hinted that the breakfast meeting will further strengthen cross-ministerial collaborations, enhance performance and drive the culture of excellence across the Civil and Public Service of the State.
The event which is scheduled for Thursday, 6th November, 2025, will be held at the Festival Hall, Government House in Benin City, by 9:00 a.m. prompt. Participants include Permanent Secretaries and Heads of MDAs, Core Administrative officers/Technical experts and selected Directors from MDAs.
