President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved new appointments and reappointments to the Federal Character Commission (FCC), including the selection of Rt. Hon. Victor Sabor Edoror, former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, as Commissioner representing Edo State.
The President also reappointed Dr. Muheeba Dankaka as Executive Chairman of the FCC for a second five-year term and named Mohammed Musa as the Commission’s Secretary. Kayode Oladele, representing Ogun State, retains his position as Commissioner, having previously served as Acting Chairman following the end of Dankaka’s first term.
Other notable reappointments include Lawal Ya’u Roni (Jigawa), Abubakar Atiku Bunu (Kebbi), and Eludayo Eluyemi (Osun).
